Messages from the Afterlife
Since my dear husband passed away in December 2013, he has been contacting me, giving details of his life in the spirit realms. He is desperate for people to be made aware that our spirits live on eternally in a wonderful place, after the death of the body and that we all meet our families and loved ones again when it is time for us to discard our bodies and go to the spiritual realms ourselves. He feels strongly that it is heart-breaking for people to grieve so much, thinking their loved ones no longer exist, when they are actually healthy, happy, younger and stronger than when they were on earth. I have agreed to help pass the information that he gives me to as many people as possible in the hope of lessening their grief and describing life in the beautiful spirit realms.
PAT’S STORY OF HIS LIFE AFTER THE DEATH OF HIS BODY
December 2013/January 2014
Shortly after the death of my dear husband Pat, aged 77, I was sitting at the table in the living room quietly thinking. Thoughts were running through my head, and suddenly I realised that the words being spoken in my head were not my thoughts, but those of Pat, who had died less than three weeks before, after a long and difficult illness.
“I haven’t left you. I don’t want to. I have been with you all the time. I can live here and be with you at the same time. I am home, but not home because home is where you are. Just know that I am here. I am always with you, and I love you very much. We will be together again when you come to me, but that will not be just yet because you have work to do.”
I asked Pat what happened at the time of his death.
“I went to sleep in hospital on earth but woke up in a different hospital here. The doctors were very kind and explained to me that my body had died, but they would make me completely better. I was not frightened because there was a feeling of love everywhere. It seems nice here; I feel a lot better already, and they are looking after me well. No more pains or discomfort and I am breathing well, receiving healing. I feel so much stronger now, and they tell me I will be completely better very soon. I was desolate in that other hospital, not being able to get out of bed on my own”.
The nurses and doctors gave him wonderful palliative care and were angels on earth themselves. I will be forever grateful for their loving care for my husband.
“Look after yourself; you are too thin! Eat properly and keep yourself well. Give my love to Liz, Barry and Reece. I am very happy that they have looked after you so well, God bless them!
I have realised I came to earth for a purpose and that was to make sure mum was all right, looked after. Mum had a difficult path to tread on earth, and it would sometimes get too much for her. We were close sisters before, on this side and I wanted to protect her at all costs.
I am quite happy here. The sky is blue all the time, and the atmosphere is tranquil/peaceful. I have not met any of the family yet. I came straight to a hospital”.

Pat’s funeral was very beautiful and uplifting. It was a celebration of his life, and the music was lovely. As time went by I listened again to the music and felt Pat talking to me.
“Come on June, you know I am all right, snap out of it! Pull yourself together; I have not left you. Don’t keep playing that rubbish (music that was played at Pat’s funeral)! It is driving me mad when I am trying to talk to you. I don’t want you to think of me as dead and gone because I am not. I am here with you a lot, and it saddens me to see you cry. Pull yourself up and get back to normal. Come on, chirp up!”
Reece has had a tattoo put on his arm with “Granddad” written on it.

“I want to tell you what is happening to me here. I am being trained for future work, and I want you to know that I love you very much. I love you more than anything in the world, and I want us to be together again and we will because we love each other. Thank you for looking after me so well. I know I was not easy some of the time, but you carried on regardless.
Tell Ted (Pat’s twin brother) not to worry about me. I am doing all right. We were together before we came to earth and wanted to continue helping each other. He was a very dear friend on whom I could depend, no relationship as such with me or mum. Ted will not have such a difficult time as I had because of the new drug they are trying out (Ted has the same medical condition as Pat). I love him very much, and I know he loves me. I have left the hospital now. I feel fine now and just as strong as ever, back to normal!
I have met Mum, Dad, Fred (older brother), Barry (younger brother) and he is his usual cheerful self, Auntie Joan and Uncle Bert. Also, Aunt Lou; she is just the same as ever! My dad has grown taller and looks a lot like me. Mum was very happy to see me and welcomed me with open arms and gave me lots of love.
I want you to get back to where you were before. Stop grieving. I love you.”

“I am quite happy here. The sky is blue all the time, and the atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful. There are no clouds; the air smells fresh and lovely, flowers are everywhere. It is wonderful. I would not go back to earth for anything. I am not subject to the conditions of Earth; I don’t get too hot or cold; the temperature is always the same. Nothing at all to worry about on this side. There are many pastimes available to us. We do not really need to go back to Earth unless we want to.
I am always with you. Pull yourself up and get back to normal. You have a lot of work to do, which I did not appreciate before but I do now. Don’t drag your heels; you are needed elsewhere, and I will be behind you all the way. Come on, chirp up!”

“It is all a bit different to what I am used to – such strange goings-on. I am amazed at how different everything is! I am home, but not home, because home is where you are. I want to be with you, and I am, most of the time. You need not worry about anything. You are well looked after”.
I said, “They told me you would not die!”
“I have not died, I am still here. That is what people need to understand. Only the body dies, not the spirit that goes on to live here”.

“Since we have been apart, I have learnt more about you and did not know about the work you do to help others (healing, mediumship). I must have been blind not to recognise this before. You are part of my life, and it does not feel the same when you are not aware that I am here a lot of the time”.

“I am getting more used to it now over here. Blimey, what a contrast to living at home (on earth). The colours are bright, and everything is upbeat.”
I saw a lovely blue colour.
“My mum is very happy here and has no desire to go back to earth at all. Dad feels that he has to, but is not ready yet. Fred is very busy, running here and there. He is quite excited about his life. We are all very independent of each other, and that is better because we can be ourselves. Barry is happy, and Jacquie has now joined him.
Keep your chin up; I know you miss me a lot.”
I asked, “What is it actually like where you are? Is it a spiritual happy place?”
“Yes, it is very happy here.”
“What is so different over there?”
“Well, I can fly for a start! That is quite normal here, and I can run and jump much higher than I could before!”
I saw Pat jump about twelve feet into the air.
“What an experience! I feel younger every day! Beautiful scenery, mountains, lakes, blue skies, happy atmosphere all around. I love it here but will not be entirely happy until you are with me, able to see me and love me. God bless you, darling.”

I asked Pat, “What does it feel like to die?”
“Not very nice beforehand, but better than living on earth, which had become too painful and distressing for me. I found myself in the hospital here and was looked after very well, with love. When I left the hospital, I met mother, and we had a happy reunion.
“Did you go to live with her?”
“Yes for a while and then I was given the little house I am in now, which is very nice and homely. You earn your house while you are on earth and it is ready for you when you come back here (after a short while).”
I asked, “Will I live with you when I pass over?”
“No, you will live with your mother for a while as is usual here, until you are ready to spread your wings, but after a while, we can both decide if we want to live together. I will be waiting for you with open arms. You do not have to ‘pay’ for anything, but you learn spiritual lessons which are very interesting”.

“I am getting younger and enjoying every minute of it except that I miss you so much. I want to be with you so much it hurts. I can see you, but you are not aware that I am with you most of the time. You should be able to see me; you have the faculties to do that, so put your mind to it. I need you to be with me and know I am here.
I know that I boss you around, but this stems from insecurity on my part, and I don’t feel insecure now. I know that you love me, and this makes me feel strong and happy, and I love you very much, more than I can explain to you. You have always been there for me, even when I did not deserve it.”

“You have never let me down, and I love you for it. I am very lonely without you being able to see and hear me a lot of the time. I feel quite despondent. You have more work to do but not for a great deal of time, and then we will be together again. I am not doing very much now, just resting.”

“Is your cosy little home like our home?”
“No, but it suits me fine. I do not want a huge house just for me to live in. I am quite happy and comfortable here. I hang out. It is very comfortable and relaxing here, and I am happy, except that you are not with me.”

“Tell me about where you are?”
“I am in a delightful place which is completely peaceful and happy. I lie on the beach and relax most of the time, and I can feel the “sun” filling me with life and energy. Everything is much nicer altogether. Everyone is friendly and happy, and you could never feel lonely (except that I feel lonely for you and miss you very much).”
“You did not mention that you were near a beach before!”
“We do not have to be near a beach, just wish, and we are there.” I am just lazing around really. That last illness really took it out of me, and I am having a much-needed rest. You will be able to come with me when you come here.”
“When you are on the beach, are there other people there?”
“There are other people on the beach, and they all talk to each other. There are no strangers here!”
“I burn in the sun. Is there a real sun there?”
“Not here, you won’t. It is not a real sun, but it feels like that because it revitalises us and makes us feel strong again. The “sun” shines all the time the breeze is cool, little animals run everywhere and people stroke and love them.”
“So I can lie in the ‘sun’ without getting burnt or skin cancer when my body dies, and I come over to where you are?”
“Yes, of course, you can. You will not have a physical body to burn, and you will be able to enjoy the weather instead of hiding under that hat all the time. Your life will be much happier, as mine has been.”

“I am looking forward to meeting you again when you can see and hear me all the time. I have been walking and talking to many people who are lonely without their loved ones, and it is not funny!”
The previous night some plumbing work was being carried out at home. The water was flowing very fast, and I could not turn it off, “Were you laughing about me last night, when I could not turn the water off?”
“No, I was not. I am not that kind of person anymore. I have learned lessons since coming over here, and one of them is to realise what people are going through. I know what you are going through and I feel sad, but I want you to snap out of it and relax more. Then you will be able to talk to me more easily.”

“Have you met any of our pets?”
“No, but I believe I can make arrangements to see them because of the love that existed between me and Bob (dog) for instance.”
“Do you still have to eat, drink and go to the toilet?”
“No we don’t, but sometimes feel the need to eat and drink after a lifetime living in the body on earth, when I am relaxed. We don’t need to go to the toilet, but it is always nice to shower in clear, sparkling water. Whatever you eat and drink just disappears.” We do not need to sleep, but can relax quietly if we wish.”
“What else have you learnt?”
“That what happens to you is a result of your own actions; love is the most important thing in the universe; the world would be changed in an instant for the better if everyone was nice to each other; animals are a gift to us of unconditional love, which we all need, and so are babies but babies are more work.”
“I have been born before as a merchant in old London, and you were my maidservant. I fell in love with you then, and we married, but it was not a happy relationship, and it did not work out. In this life, we were meant to be together to make up for the unhappiness we caused each other in the past life, which we managed to do.”
“In our last life, what caused us to make each other unhappy?”
“We both had strong ideas of what we wanted, and they did not match.”
“No change there then.”
“We will not argue so much when you come here because we will not have the same pressures and will not be so dependent on each other. I still want to be with you. Our love for each other is very strong and has overcome all obstacles in this life. I am sorry that I made your life hard sometimes, but my nerves were bad, and I never felt secure in your love for a long time, but now I do.”
“I should hope so too!”
“I am so thankful that you have been in my life because you made life worth living when I was down (ill). I knew I could rely on you, and that made me feel less panicky and more secure that I was loved and cared for. When you come to me, we will have a holiday together, and I will show you the ropes. I am glad that you have bucked up because I don’t like to see you so upset, especially when it is completely unnecessary.”
I saw a picture of Pat looking very young, in his 20’s. “Do you really look that young again, back to when you were in your 20’s?”
“Yes, I do, and I love it! I feel so strong and healthy now, I have had a lovely rest. My heart is in your hands.”
“Why wouldn’t you let me give you healing?”
“Because I did not really believe in it and I like to be awkward!”

“I am in the middle of a complex book about healing. I wanted to know what you do, but it seems that you just channel the healing energy through you, to the recipient. I have been watching you all day. You are wearing yourself to a frazzle. You must rest and get your breath back!”
I asked my guides: “Is it better to stay in the spiritual realms or return to earth to learn lessons?”
“It is quicker, easier and more efficient to return to earth because conditions are harder and more demanding. You have done this on a regular basis because you don’t like hanging around.”
“Are we building up more bad karma by returning to earth?”
“Not if you behave correctly.”

“I am still O.K. and more so. I have never been so happy in my life, but I want you with me very much. I am still enjoying the beauty of everything here and thinking of you all the time.”

I saw Pat moving incredibly fast along the landing at home, then disappearing. “Pat, did I see you just now on the landing? You seemed to be walking extremely fast!”
“I think perhaps you did. I can go as fast as I want now. I think I am allowed a sabbatical before starting work.”
My brother-in-law Alf came through and left a loving message for his wife Chicks, my sister.
“Pat, how did you and Alf meet?”
“I sent out a thought, and Alf received it. He is with his Aunt Mavis/Mabel(?) at the moment. I will see him again. We are very friendly and related (by marriage).”
Barry is here with Jacquie and is happy with her. I see Fred now and again, and he is very busy working for spirit.”

“I know, and I am glad that I have found out so much that I did not know while I was on earth. It has changed me for the better, I hope.”

“I was with you today, holding your hand (operation on my face, possibly skin cancer) as you were with me in my hour of need. Bless Liz for coming to your aid because it was a bit worse than you thought, wasn’t it? That will heal soon, and you will be glad you had it done. Just relax, and you will hear me much more.”

“You never listened to me when I talked about spiritual matters when you were here.”
“That is because I did not know then what I know now. I would have been much more interested if I had. You are a strange girl, different from everybody else, but full of love for others, and I feel very lucky to have lived with you for 54¾ years. We clashed a lot with our ideas, but still, you were always my love, and I knew that you loved me too.”
“That is true. What is strange about me?”
You did not seem to think along the same lines as anyone else, and I had my work cut out to know what was going on in your head, but I always loved you very much.”
“Surprisingly, that is exactly my feeling about you. I found it really hard sometimes to discover what was going on in your head, but I always loved you. Perhaps we were just an odd couple!”
“Perhaps you are right.”

“My life is better than it has ever been; no worries, no pains, no trouble breathing and whole lot more positive things happening to me. I couldn’t ask for more, except that I want to share all this with you. I am having a good time here with plenty of refreshing drinks (not alcohol) and swims.”

“I can travel around the earth, and it does not take long. I have also been travelling around over here, and it is very interesting and nice. We will go on holiday when you come to me and have a lovely time getting to know each other again, properly this time!”
“What do you mean when you say, ‘We will get to know each other again properly?’ Don’t you know me enough after spending all those years with me?”
“No, I don’t because you led your spiritual life alone, without including me.”
“But I did tell you a lot about it, and you just were not interested enough to listen.”
“That is because I did not understand like I do now. I am a changed person. My eyes have been opened to the reality of life.”
“But I love you as you are/were. A little less grumpy perhaps?”
“You won’t understand until you come here!”
“Will I recognise you if you are changing so much?”
“Yes, of course, you will recognise me. I am still the same person, but learning more than I did on earth.”

“No, it does not really work over here because everyone can read each other’s minds. A bit frustrating really but I have got used to it now. A small price to pay to live in this wonderful area! I have been down by the river, just relaxing and letting ‘time’ go by. I am still enjoying everything here, discovering new and better ways of life, healthy and happy. I get so frustrated trying to make you notice me!”

“I have been wandering around, looking at the beautiful scenery and breathing in the wonderfully clear air, which I appreciate very much, after my ordeal on earth. It is far more beautiful than earth and filled with love. It is impossible to explain how beautiful it is here, far more than anything on earth. There are no boundaries because we are all one and part of each other. I feel ten foot tall and happy! It is not at all miserable because when people come here all their earth difficulties fall away and they blossom out with all the love that fills the ‘air’.”

“I have started on my spiritual course and find it quite interesting. I think of you when I am doing this because I love you very much and spirituality is all about love for others. This is a whole new concept for me because I did not realise how powerful, loving thoughts are. I am learning, and I know you love me, which helps me a lot and makes me feel strong and happy. I am learning some interesting things here about life and knowledge. I would never have dreamed that so much was going on underneath the layers of ordinary life on earth that most people are not aware of. I am able to learn about this much more easily than I thought and feel quite proud of myself!”

“I am finding out very interesting things on my course, such as how to teach people on earth right from wrong without alienating them or boring them. This is a very interesting new method of getting through to people in the nicest possible way with love and could be very useful in terms of enabling/encouraging people to listen. This can only be done with love, discipline and a feeling of security. First of all, the person must be made to feel important and treated with the utmost respect; then shown how to treat others in the same way. Love is about us all helping each other, and in doing that we will all feel a lot better. Some people have ‘lost’ their way because they have lacked love, which is very important from the time of their birth and from then on. They need nurturing and love to blossom into happy people with no anger issues. I may take this further; I have not made up my mind yet. Perhaps we can work together on this!”
“I love Ted (twin brother, suffering from the same illness as Pat) very much and I want to help and reassure him that he will not suffer like I did.”

“You will see that I am a changed man, for the better, because I have learnt so many interesting truths about life since I have been here and life has opened up a lot of knowledge for me. I am different, yet the same, it is just that I know much more about life now. I suppose it was a case of remembering what I already knew but had forgotten. I am not alone, but always have someone to help me. Everybody is happy here, except that they miss their loved ones on earth.”
“Why do some people teach their young people to hate?”
My guides answered this question: “Because this gives them an army to carry out their lower desires, making the young people feel that it is their duty. The young people will come to their senses and realise that they are being used.”
“I am so excited about what I have learnt on this spiritual course. I want you to help me to get this message across to people that we are all one; and prejudice, pride and greed have no place in the world today. We must work together, not fight each other because this is like fighting ourselves. We need each other spiritually in order to advance, must help each other in need. We are all facets of the same diamond. Why don’t we wake up and realise these things, because deep down we know! We must tell people. This is too important to ignore!”

“I am so excited about this wonderful information/knowledge. I am here and need to tell you the latest developments in the spiritual course. I am pleased to say that I have been chosen to get this message across to people, through your channel. The world is coming to a stage where spirituality is going to be proved beyond question, and I want you to voice the information that I will give to you. We are coming to a time when people are ready to listen to the truths of the universe, and you are in a position to make this known. We are all part of each other, and that is because we are all part of God. As such, we are all brothers and sisters and should treat each other with love and respect and help each other at all times, like a loving family. We should not indulge in feelings of superiority, prejudice, greed because we are all equal in the eyes of (God) the Highest Good. Most of us are willing to go a little way along this road, but we need a lot more love in the world, to cure the ills that have overtaken it.
We were brought here on earth to make a difference to mankind. We must impart forgotten knowledge to people so that they live a loving life, caring for all beings, not just themselves. We must love others as much as we love ourselves. We were meant to be together to do this work.”

“The world is going to change dramatically very soon when it is proved beyond doubt that we survive the death of the body, and our spirits continue on forever. We can take opportunities for spiritual advancement or not, as we see fit. There is no rush, as we go on forever, so there is no need for so much grief when the body dies. There are some ‘closed-up’ people who do not wish to see. There are many who will very much welcome this and be open to attending trials to confirm their loved ones still exist in another dimension, but who can communicate.
This will be proved by mediums giving quite specific information to people so that there would be no other method of them knowing this information. It is imperative that the people who are checking the questions are completely honest and with an open mind.”
“Who is going to ensure that happens?”
“You, among others, will work towards this. You will not take any notice of those who cannot or will not accept this and will just continue on giving out the information that we live on after the death of the body; that love is the most important and powerful thing in the universe. Love feeds our spirit and helps us to dismiss feelings of inferiority, not feeling good enough; gives us pride in ourselves and achievements and incentive to achieve more. You will have to keep your end up verbally as some will feel entitled to be abusive towards you!
Love is the most important and powerful energy in the universe. Children need a great deal of love to make them feel secure and loved for themselves, whether they are able to achieve a lot or a little because this love from the beginning of their lives supports them through many trials in life and helps them to mature gracefully as they get older. Love feeds our spirit, makes us feel strong and happy.”
“We can work together, but I need real proof and answers for people!”

“I want you to tell people that we live on after the death of the body and continue in another dimension, although we can visit our loved ones whenever we want. I, for instance, have been to see all the family and I know that Ted was aware that I was with him because the love between us is very strong. He definitely felt my presence near to him but wrote it off as his imagination, which is frustrating for me because I would love to make contact with him when he recognises me.
I want people to know that there is a lot to look forward to after the death of the body: freedom from pain and anxiety and an opportunity to relax completely; meeting relatives and friends who went before us; we are able to visit our loved ones on earth and wish they could realise that we are with them, feel our presence.
I am loving it here! Mother has brightened up considerably since she has been here and looks a million dollars. She would not go back to earth for anything; neither would I – it is so much nicer here. When you come, you will see!”

“I am still searching new places in this new world, and it is very exciting and interesting. I have found out that there are many different ways to serve God. “Life is getting more interesting here. We can read each other’s thoughts and talk to each other by thought. I know what you are thinking all the time because I can hear your thoughts, and very jangly they are most of the time We can tune into one person’s thoughts and also others. We soon learn to control our thoughts so that we don’t upset people.”

“Do you still like football, cricket and tennis?”
“I am not particularly interested in sport (football, cricket, tennis) because there is so much here that is wonderful and inspiring and I can join in myself, which is very therapeutic.”

“June, I want you to remember who you are because it will be extremely helpful for the work we are about to do together. Meditate during the day and ask to be shown who you are.”
I asked my guides, and they said: “You are a fairly new recruit but it is not entirely out of the question and we will help you all we can. We will consider this and let you know.”
Pat said, “I am glad that you asked because we have a lot of work to do.”

“I have a lighter body and a much better one, I can tell you. No more pain or discomfort, very light and enjoyable, young again, able to choose where to go and be there by wishing in my mind, straight away, no transport required. I travel along a line of love to reach you. The love line stretches between people who love each other, but if there is no bond of love, we just wish. No one holds me back; I can travel where I like. There are no boundaries because we are all one and part of each other. There are guides, angels and high beings here and we are free to go to see them. We are free to do and go wherever we wish, and no-one has stopped me so far.”
“Mother is doing spiritual work, helping those less fortunate. Fred (brother) is very busy most of the time, also helping others. He does work that is very knowledgeable and has had special training for that, but I do not know exactly what he does.”

Pat’s twin brother Terry, known as ‘Ted’, died today. He had the same medical condition as Pat, who has been trying to get his attention for a long time.
My guides said that Ted was given ‘leave of absence’ and was allowed to pass over and go ‘home’ earlier, due to the mountains of love that surrounded him, and his good works!
“Ted is now in a convalescent home here and is being healed with beautiful colours, looking at beautiful scenery and receiving healing. He is breathing normally and is overwhelmed to be able to see me again. He misses Moya, his wife, and is concerned about her welfare. He knows the boys (three sons) are with her, looking after her. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to be with my dear Ted, knowing that he can see and hear me”.
“Do you still need to breathe where you are?”
“We do not really have to breathe over here, but old habits die hard, and it will take some time for Ted to take this in. He needs to sleep now to rejuvenate his energies, but this won’t take very long! When he wakes up I will be with him, so will Mum, Dad, Fred and Barry and there will be a happy reunion. Ted will live with mother some of the time and with me some of the time until he ‘finds his feet’. Then he will be given his own house. The house is earned by our actions when on earth.”
“Is it difficult to communicate at first?”
“Yes, it is quite a complicated process, but once you have done it, it becomes easier.”
“You don’t sound the same. You don’t speak the way you used to.”
“That is because my words come through your mind, and you interpret them, which is why I sound different.”
“Do you watch TV?”
“We have something far more advanced than TV. We can actually take part, not just watch. All the programmes have a spiritual lesson/message so that we learn as we go along.”
“Does everyone who passes over, no matter how evil their deeds, go to the same place?”
“If someone has done something bad, they come here but are enlightened to the effects of their behaviour and immediately regret their actions, so they are their own judges. If they do not regret their actions, they are helped and worked with spiritually until they realise their mistakes. There is no violence here because everyone remembers who they are. I have remembered that I am better than I thought. We are shown our life history soon after we arrive here. It is very interesting and enlightening”.
My guides also answered this question: “No, they do not all go to the same place. With extremes of behaviour – evil – there are special places of adjustment where they are shown the real results of their actions and teaching sessions to help them to realise how/where they went wrong. Also counselling to help them to overcome their guilt.”

I wished Pat & Ted a happy birthday – they would have been 79 today.
Pat said, “Thanks, darling, although the happiest birthday was when I came here and all my worries dropped away from me. Never, never again will I go back to earth! If only we had known we were coming to live in this beautiful place, we would not have been so frightened! Ted is now very healthy and able to look after himself. He is looking younger, and so am I. He is living with mother for a little while, and afterwards, he will decide where to live.”
“How many times have you been to earth?”
“I do not know how many times, but all my previous lives on earth were tough, especially the life where we married in old London.”
“Did we divorce then?”
“No, this was not heard of in those days.”
“Did we live together and make each other miserable, as you said before?”
“Yes, we did. We did not talk to each other at all, and both found other partners. We were not happy with them either because we really loved each other, but could not live with each other.”
“So why did we decide to repeat this?”
“Because we loved each other then just as we do now. We wanted to draw together to overcome all obstacles and differences, which we did this time around.”
“Ted is really ‘on the up’ now, and his energy is increasing one-hundredfold. He cannot believe he feels so well and strong after all this time of feeling weak and below par. He is delighted to be able to send messages to his beloved Moya and feels even happier because he knows that she is aware of the truth that the spirit lives on after death of the body. He is beside himself with joy. Mother is very pleased! This has taken a great weight off my shoulders, and we are holidaying now, seeing the wonderful sights here which far outdo anything on earth. We are having our reward for our life on earth and very pleasing it is too! We are flying around, enjoying the scenery.”
“Is it possible to bump into the other people when you are flying?”
“No, it is not. We might pass through or around each other, but it does not hurt.”
“Do you meet other people when you are flying around?”
“Yes, all very friendly.”
“When you are flying around, do you visit other countries?”
“No, not really. It is not like that. We are all one and part of each other, so there are no real boundaries.”
“Moya and I thought we would be a couple of gooseberries between you and Ted because you love each other so much!”
“Not at all. We both miss our lovely wives and cannot wait for you to join us when the time is right.”
“Are men physically stronger than women where you are?”
“It is not necessary to lift physical items or have physical strength. Men are still men. Women are still women. And everyone works together with respect and love.”
Pat looked young and handsome.
“That is right; I am young looking and very pleased with it.”
He smiled, showing gleaming white teeth, always one of his most striking features.
“It is so lovely over here. I can’t put into words how beautiful it is and how happy and friendly the people are. I would not go back to earth for anything. It is so dismal there in comparison with the beautiful scenery here. We will be together again here. Where there is real true love, this bond cannot be broken.”
“So why did you and I come back to earth?”
“To experience earth conditions, to achieve overcoming our differences; to love and to lose; to stray from the path and return to it; to help others in need and much more. You and I were meant to experience things that we had not experienced before. We loved each other in spite of our many differences and needs. Think of me as being very healthy and active, not being ill because I am completely on top form now and very pleased with it!
If you knew how beautiful it is here, you would look forward to it! I will tell you in detail when we have finished the spiritual course. There is so much more goodness than we realised and our spirits are raised knowing this.”
“How long after your body died were you shown a review of your earth life?”
“Not very long.”
“Why did you reincarnate into the life you have lived on earth most recently with me?”
“Mother needed my help very badly, and I could not let her down because I loved her very much and still do.”
“Do you celebrate Easter or Christmas where you are?”
“We do celebrate Christmas but not Easter. It is optional.”
“What work will we be doing together?”
“Telling the world what I have experienced over here. The spiritual course is teaching us how to help people from here and is something I might be interested in and follow up. I have found that I have known spiritual truths all long but forgot while I was on earth, as we all do. Doors have been opened for me that I did not know existed, but we will discuss this when we start work together.”
“Ted is much more himself now. He has completely accepted his transition and waits for Moya as I wait for you. We are very pleased to be alive – it is such a happy place here, and we love it. We are both enjoying ourselves no end after the restrictions of the bodies on earth. We are free to do whatever we want, flying, jumping for joy among very happy, friendly people. You are never alone here, and no harm can come to you. Mum is happy too; she is busy working hard to help others who need assistance and is happier than she has ever been.”
“Do you all look the same age?”
“No we do not, but when the worries and stress drop away, everyone looks younger.”
“When you see people do you automatically know all about them because you communicate mentally?”
“No, it does not work like that. We can read each other’s thoughts but are not entitled to know everything about them.”
“It seems funny thinking of you looking young, in your 20’s.” (Pat was 77 when his body died!)
“There is nothing funny about it. I enjoy it and so does Ted, especially as we both feel so healthy and on top form!”
“Do you talk to your guides?”
“Not really, but they are there if we need them.”
“And your guardian angel?”
“Not really. I guess we have not been here long enough to go as far as that yet.”
“Do you swim, and can you still breathe underwater?”
“We can swim if we wish. We do not need to breathe at all but because we were in the habit of breathing on earth, we can if we wish.”
I saw a picture of Pat with his arm around my mother, “So you have met my Mum and Dad then!”
“Yes, and they were pleased to welcome me into their house, which is full of love.”
“I knew it would be. They always loved each other a lot in spite of their disagreements! Like us!”
“Yes, a lot like us. If we had not loved each other so much, we would not have stayed together because we were/are both so different.”
“I know. It must feel strange that you are unable to ‘wind people up’ because they can read your mind because that was your hobby!”
“Yes it did at first, but there are so many interesting things to do here that I soon forgot about it and I am happier than I have ever been!
This is a quiet, peaceful, beautiful place where people and animals come to regenerate/relax away from the hullabaloo of earth and other places and very nice it is too. We can stay as long as we want, or be reborn when we feel the need. No-one pushes us to return to earth or other places. It is our own decision. Time is not important. We have as much time as it takes to learn lessons, etc.”
“Why are people reborn if they can learn over there?”
“Because the experience is much wider and more direct. You can learn lessons much quicker in the general run of things, although it is more uncertain (due to free will) of the outcome of your endeavours. The intention is the main priority. I had a much narrower view while I was earth. I am very surprised at what I have learnt so far.
We are getting close to the end of my spiritual course when I will give you important information for you to impart to as wide an audience as possible. I am so excited about this wonderful news about spirit living on after the death of the body and much more. You have no idea what is really going on in the universe. I would never have thought so much was going on under my nose, and I never had an inkling!”
“I hope it is all good?”
“Yes, it is. Survival of the spirit after the death of the body will be proved beyond doubt, and people need not suffer and grieve so much when a loved one’s body dies. I have grown spiritually since I have been here and understand a lot more about life.”
“Did you already know these truths and forget them as we all do when we are born onto the earth?”
“Yes I suppose I did, but the breakthrough revelations will change the world for the better. I can feel your love, and it keeps me warm.”
“It is very hot here, 35 degrees!”
“Thank goodness I don’t have to worry about changes in temperature anymore! It stays very comfortable here all the time.”
“Good. I’m all right, Jack, pull up the ladder!”
“It is good/refreshing to receive your cheeky remarks! I would pull up the ladder if you were on it and it brought you to me – except that we have some work to do together and I am looking forward to that!”
“Mother is getting on very well, busy with her spiritual work. Her face is bright and happy all the time, and it is just lovely here. I can’t tell you how much; you will have to see for yourself when you come here.”
“What is the name of the place where you are?”
“I have not heard it called anything in particular.”
“Isn’t that confusing?”
“No, because we are all one and part of each other.”
“So it is not ‘heaven’?”
“Not particularly, though it certainly feels like heaven after being on earth!”
My Guide answered this: “It has not got a name. ‘Shangri-La’ is as good a name as any!”
“Will I be telling the truth if I call it ‘Shangri-La’?”
“It is the same; eternal life; no pain; youthful; happy; love everywhere; no worries or stress. Need I go on?”
“No”
“June, I am pleased to talk to you because I have missed you sorely.”
“I have missed you a lot too, Pat. No-one to make cheeky comments to me and I can’t tell anyone about my day because no-one is there. I loved your cheeky sense of humour, and you made me laugh even when I was annoyed with you.”
“Ted is free of all pain and sadness and feels free and light after his health difficulties on earth.”
“We are strutting ‘the light fantastic’ together and really enjoying ourselves.”
